Kisumu police have stepped up their search for two suspects suspected of suffocating and strangling their employer in the Milimani estate.
According to Kisumu Central sub-county deputy police commander Jackton Mango, the suspects tied the 75-year-old Indian woman’s legs and hands before killing her.
Mango claims they have yet to determine the motivation behind the duo’s decision to end their employer’s life.
He claims the man and woman had previously sent the security guard manning the house to buy groceries before committing the act in his absence.
According to police, the male suspect had worked for the deceased for 8 years while the lady was a month old in the home.
Neighbours and locals who gathered at the scene condemned the incident and urged police to track down and arrest the two suspects.
