KWS officers arrested for robbing a family

Four Kenya Wildlife Service (KWS) Officers attached to the Baawa KWS Station in Samburu have been arrested for attacking and robbing a group of relatives.

It is alleged that the kin were attacked on December 26, 2019, while coming from a dowry function in Lodogojek area.

According to a report by the DCI, the group were then blocked by the armed officers on board a KWS Land Cruiser and robbed them of Ksh. 9,500/- and other personal items.

The officers Corporal James Lamata and Wardens Brian Kiplangat Dad Said and Peter Kirui are in custody, and will be arraignment in court.
