List of Presidents Who Have Arrived For Ruto’s Inauguration

Several heads of state and governments, as well as dignitaries, have already arrived at Nairobi’s Kasarani stadium ahead of President-elect William Ruto’s inauguration.

Cleopas Dlamini, Prime Minister of Eswatini arrived first, followed by Somalia’s President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud, and were both welcomed by Foreign Affairs Cabinet Secretary Raychelle Omamo, Nairobi Governor Johnson Sakaja and Kiharu MP Ndindi Nyoro.

Others include Samia Suluhu of the United Republic of Tanzania, Évariste Ndayishimiye of Burundi, Lazarus Chakwera of Malawi, Wavel Ramkalawan of Seychelles, Umaro Sissoco Embaló of Guinea Bissau, and Felix Tshisekedi of (Congo).

Sierra Leone’s President Julius Maada Bio also arrived, as did Zimbabwe’s Emmerson Mnangagwa, Mozambique’s Filipe Nyusi, Rwanda’s Paul Kagame, and  Salva Kiir (South Sudan).

Other dignitaries who attended the ceremony included Chief Justice Martha Koome, 5 members of the US presidential delegation, and some VIPs.

The families of Deputy President-elect Rigathi Gachagua and President-elect William Ruto are expected to arrive shortly.
