The Law Society of Kenya (LSK) has declared that the positions of president, vice-president, and three representatives of the general membership will become vacant in March 2026, setting the stage for new elections.
In a notice to members, the Society’s secretary outlined the upcoming vacancies, noting that the move is in line with the Law Society of Kenya Act, 2014, and the General Regulations, 2020.
The announcement signals the beginning of the transition process within the professional body, which represents advocates across the country, as preparations for the 2026 leadership elections get underway.
Would you like me to extend it slightly with a brief background on when the current leadership took office or what the election process typically involves?
