The battle for the soul of Machakos got ugly as Wavinya Ndeti goons blockaded the Machakos Golf Club to stop Nzioka Waita from accessing the venue.
The goons, sneaked in by golf club members, allowed Raila Odinga in but attempted to stop Nzioka from the podium.
Kalonzo has been forcing Waita to step down from his gubernatorial ambitions in favour of the former Transport CAS Wavinya.
The heated stand off saw supporters of the two clash in Athi River earleir this month, forcing Raila to end his Azimio rally prematurely.
Raila Odinga is on a tour of the county and is expected to meet his supporters in Machakos Stadium and other roadside meetings.
