Man Accused Of Stealing Dead Woman’s Documents To Withdraw Ksh. 991,000

He was charged with stealing succession documents with respect to succession cause in the estate of Elizabeth Waiganjo the property of Kenneth Waiganjo.

A middle-aged man was arraigned in court where he was charged with stealing from a deceased’s account at co-operative bank.

According to the charge sheet, Charles Githara Kimani on diverse dates between May 24, 2019, and September 27, 2022, at the co-operative bank stima plaza branch, with others yet to be arrested, conspired to defraud Kes 991, 442 from co-operative bank account in the name of Elizabeth Njahira Waiganjo, deceased domiciled at co-operative bank.

Further, he was charged with stealing succession documents with respect to succession cause in the estate of Elizabeth Waiganjo the property of Kenneth Waiganjo.

He denied particulars of the offense and was released on a bond of Ksh 600,000 with an alternative cash bail of Ksh 400,000.
