BY PRUDENCE WANZA – A man has been charged of obtaining Sh.10m by false pretenses.
Charles Ondieki Nyabuto is accused of obtaining the money from one Maurice Owiti by falsely pretending that he was in a position to clear containers from the port of Mogadishu.
He is alleged to have committed the offence between 27th March and 1st April,2019.
He denied the charges before Principal Magistrate Hellen Onkwani at the Milimani Law Courts.
The magistrate ruled he be released on a cash bail of Sh.1.5m.
The case will be mentioned on 17th July,2019 and the hearing will be on 12th August,2019.
