Mason Greenwood continued his fine run of form with a second half brace that saw United win 3-1 over visitors Burnley on Sunday, keeping them on course for a top- four finish.

Greenwood opened the scoring early in the second half at Old Trafford before James Tarkowski equalised moments later.

United would have had the last word as Greenwood’s deflected effort found a way in with less than ten minutes to go before Edinson Cavani added another in injury time.

The result now leaves United at second place on 66 points from 32 games, 8 points behind leaders Manchester City and 10 ahead of third placed Leicester, who have a game in hand.

Burnley stay 17th on 33 points from 32 games, 6 points above 18th placed Fulham who have played a game more and were held to a 1-1 draw at Arsenal after conceding a late equaliser.
