Mbadi, Ichungw’a want Covid 19 protocals for politicians

The Ministry of Health is confusing Kenyans on Covid-19 protocols. ODM Chair John Mbadi says the Ministry, led by CS Mutahi Kagwe has already eased restrictions and must now give fresh protocols.

The sentiments were echoed by DP William Ruto point-man in Central Kenya Kimani Ichungwa, who accused ODM of forming a Corona Coalition in a bid to lock DP Ruto from the presidency. The duo were speaking during a live interview at Citizen TV last night, the Mps said the easing of restrictions in Churches was evidence that the Covid-19 curve is flattening.

“Kagwe must now introduce new protocols for politicians. We need to meet the people and engage with them”, Mbadi said.
The two leaders traded barbs over politicization of the war on graft, with Ichungwa demanding that the person who withdrew Sh.2billion from a bank in Westlands be investigated.

But Mbadi claimed only DP Ruto or President Kenyatta may have withdrawn the cash, linked to Kimwarer and Arror dams.
Former Treasurer CS Henry Rotich and his PS have been charged with the offence of abuse of office, in relation to the dams scandal.
