Mejja responds to Shakilla Young Girl Respect Yourself

Last month local hit maker Mejja and his Sol Generation counterpart Bensoul released the video to the Nairobi song, which recieved some negativity from one Shakilla, was displeased  by his lyrics on the song. – By Stephanie Mwangi.

Shakilla went on to call him low budget Idd Amin Dada for his costume on the music video.

Mejja has responded.

“First of all I have nothing to say to her. I am not happy with the way people are normalizing abnormality and I will not be the one to reward abnormality, I think its high time Kenyans should be aware of this.

There is a girl who does not expose her nudity, she is well educated you get? She is hustling and has not gotten a job for a year .but there is this one who is using remotes and doing the most and she is given a job and money.

you are teaching the lady with principles that it is okay to be abnormal because I am decent and I respect myself  but  I am not winning and that is why I will not reward abnormality . Big up to those girls who respect themselves.” Said Mejja.

Mejja said he will not allow to be thrown into the ratchet behavior that Shakilla thrives on. Their whole beef began back when the video was released and Shakilla started saying that the song should be deleted from YouTube and be re-uploaded after his part has been removed .
