Traders in Migori town are counting losses after a night fire razed down their business premises.
The traders led by James Ruiru Kinuthia said they have incurred losses that amount to millions of money in a fire incident who cause has not yet been established.
The traders added that they were called by the security officers that their shops have been caught in the inferno and they could not salvage their wares at all.
They also blamed the disaster department for laxity and slow response to the fire incidents in the count saying that they could have salvahed and saved some of their property.
They want the national and the county Government of Migori to make sure that they help the traders get back on foot and continue with their daily activities.
The cause of the fire is not yet established bu they blamed it on electric faults.
