A FRR truck carrying Mt. Kenya Dairy Milk lost control and crashed into a farm in the Mukiria area on the Meru Highway to Nairobi, Imenti Central Constituency, Meru.
According to eyewitnesses, the truck ruptured its tyre and hit the farm, with the driver and his assistant being rescued safely.
Residents, particularly drivers of this type of vehicle, have appealed to the government to look into the quality of tires sold, as the cracked tire appears to be brand new.
Furthermore, while urging drivers to be careful on the roads, they have urged the Government to put up barriers in dangerous areas along the roads, especially in slope areas.
