The National Treasury representatives convened with the Global Fund Country Team, under the direction of Paul McCarrick, the Senior Fund Portfolio Manager, and principal secretaries Harry Kimtai of the State Department for Medical Services and Mary Muthoni of the State Department for Public Health and Professional Standards.
The goal was to evaluate the effectiveness of funding from the Global Fund, which included a thorough analysis of the response to the El Nino that affected the health sector. This confirmed the Ministry’s commitment to tackling Kenya’s growing health issues.
