Political activist and Inject Party leader Kebaso Morara has come out strongly against Kenya’s opposition, accusing them of lacking a clear vision for the country.
In a video posted on his social media pages on Saturday, Morara criticized opposition leaders for focusing solely on removing President William Ruto from office, rather than offering practical solutions to the nation’s challenges.
“I encourage the youths of Kenya not to board that bus of tribalism, clueless opposition leaders who are only uniting but do not have a vision, except removing the President,” Morara said.
“We must think beyond removing the President. What is our stand on corruption? How will we create jobs and deliver justice to victims of police brutality?”
Morara’s remarks come amid mounting political activity as opposition figures begin coalescing ahead of the 2027 general elections.
Despite his past appearances alongside key opposition leaders—such as attending the launch of Martha Karua’s People’s Liberation Party (PLP) and meeting with former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua—Morara insists he is not aligned with the opposition bloc.
“I met them, I listened, and I walked away,” Morara said, distancing himself from recent coalition-building efforts by figures like Kalonzo Musyoka, Eugene Wamalwa, and others.
His comments come as online campaigns hype potential presidential contenders such as former Interior CS Dr. Fred Matiang’i, former Chief Justice David Maraga, and Busia Senator Okiya Omtatah as possible challengers to President Ruto.
Morara maintains that Kenya’s youth must resist being swayed by tribal politics or empty slogans. Instead, he calls for a movement focused on justice, accountability, and economic revival.
“Our vision must go beyond William Ruto,” he emphasized, urging young Kenyans to be agents of change, not just passengers in someone else’s political journey.
