Mourinho Linked To Newcastle Move

Mourinho's deal with the Giallorossi is still good for another two years, but a number of elite teams have already expressed interest in the Portuguese coach.

Jose Mourinho, the manager of Roma, has been mentioned in Italian media as a possible summer transfer to Newcastle United.

According to Corriere della Sera, the English team, who are now close to the top of the Premier League standings, is pondering a significant move for the Special One, whose future at Roma is still up in the air.

Mourinho’s deal with the Giallorossi is still good for another two years, but a number of elite teams have already expressed interest in the Portuguese coach.

It is unlikely that the Portuguese will remain in Roma. His contract may not be extended once it expires in 2024.

Following recent results, the former Chelsea manager has faced criticism, particularly after losing to rival Lazio and then drawing with Sassuolo.

According to the source, it’s uncertain whether Mourinho will have his contract renewed.

If he does, the club has Thomas Tuchel lined up to take Mourinho’s position.

Additionally, it states that if Newcastle made an offer for him, “things may change” and that he would probably quit the Italian team.
