Musalia Mudavadi has teamed up with Deputy President William Ruto to take over power from President Uhuru Kenyatta.
DP Ruto made a surprise visit to Musalia, angering OKA Co-principals who then staged a walk out.
Musalia accused President Uhuru Kenyatta for the economic woes facing Kenya.
Musalia said the President is fronting Raila Odinga candidacy to secure protection once he retires.
“Some shadowy elements are busy attempting to coerce, intimidate and impose handpicked leaders. This is a perilous road that can only lead to civil strife. The stability of this country is derived from the legitimacy bestowed through popular elections.” Musalia remarked.
He claimed that Uhuru sat passively as Kenya went bankrupt and said his government will reverse the stride.
Mudavadi claimed 70 per cent of collected taxes is used to pay for bloated loans whose projects are not tenable.
“There is an embarrassing national ritual of adjusting the debt ceiling upwards, all the time. It is deceit bordering on criminal intent. I am boldly stepping out of the shadows to caution the government against borrowing expensive easy-to-embezzle commercial loans with short repayment periods.” Musalia said.
He accused Kenyatta of mortgaging the country to China and other lenders and said Kenya faces an auction anytime.
Musalia said Uhuru has converted Kenyans into borrowing machines and ATMs.
“Kenya has become a fuliza nation. The youth have given up. Women are devastated. Where are the handshake partners” , he said.
Musalia said he will seek other partners to support his State House bid.
