Following a High Court judgement that annulled Isaac Mwaura’s dismissal from the Jubilee Party, Senate Speaker Kenneth Lusaka has re-admitted him to the Senate.
While readmitting Isaac Mwaura, Speaker Lusaka stated in communication on Wednesday that his responsibility, in this case, was to follow the High Court’s ruling.
Taking to the podium, Isaac Mwaura took a swipe at his party Jubilee over expelling leaders with a different ideology.
He however stated that the party was on a sinking trajectory and it should accept criticism from those who are bold.

The Political Party Disputes Tribunal upheld the Jubilee Party’s decision to strike Mwaura’s name from the party’s membership list, and he lost his position.
He later secured an order prohibiting the Senate Speaker from declaring his seat empty until his petition challenging his expulsion from the ruling party is heard and decided.
Mwaura had been replaced by former Samburu Senator Sammy Leshore by the Jubilee Party.
