After a rumor that he had died spread widely online, the family of former B-Club deejay Felix Orinda, popularly known as DJ Evolve, has moved to affirm that the entertainer is still alive and well.

The entertainer’s father, James Orinda, issued a video on Tuesday in which he expressed his displeasure with the fake death rumors.

He said that the family received fake news on social media on Tuesday morning that the DJ had died.

Mr. Orinda continued, “He is doing well now; he can sit alone for about an hour without assistance, and he can also sit on the sofa for up to eight hours.”

He urged Kenyans and the DJ’s fans to pray for the family, claiming that the DJ had survived the worst of his storms.
The DJ’s appeal for the attempted murder prosecution against Embakasi East MP Babu Owino to be withdrawn was denied last year.

The legislator must come out freely and inform the court what he has offered the DJ’s family, according to Milimani Court Trial Magistrate Bernard Ochoi.

Despite the DJ’s serious injuries, the Magistrate argues that the court has not been informed whether compensation has been paid.
