A church in Nairobi has moved to restrict its members from wearing miniskirts, rugged clothing, see through outfits and ‘bling bling’ in its premises.
St Peter Claver’s Catholic Church, popular among the youth in Nairobi, has moved to print out a banner containing images of young men and women in the supposed inappropriate outfits.
Interacting with citizens who frequently pass near the establishment, many were happy to see the regulation as it is alleged that ‘badly’ dressed ladies in the area find solace in the church, thereby resulting in spreading the fashion to ‘true’ followers of the church.
“Let them do it. infact we will set up shop and sell appropriate clothing for church goers here at the entrance.” said one trader outside the church.
