According to an analysis by the International Schools Database, Nairobi has been ranked first for having the most expensive international schools in Africa with a fee of sh2.89 million high per year.
The report also names other countries in Africa with Cairo scooping second and other countries following like Johannesburg, Kampala, Addis Ababa and cape town having the most affordable price.
Compared to last year the figures have dropped for Nairobi, international schools with them being at sh733394 compared to sh902,000.
The report goes ahead to state that the high figures on international schools in Nairobi are not surprising, because of the rise of demand on education, where parents choose to enroll their kids in such schools so as to increase the chances of them being admitted to universities abroad.
