The Nairobi Rivers Commission (NRC) on Tuesday 22nd August met with Water Resources Authority (WRA) CEO Mr. Mohamed Shurie and Mr. Fred Nyongesa, Manager Water Quality and Pollution to discuss collaboration towards a massive Nairobi River cleanup program.
According to NRC, the program is dubbed #Continuecleaning and #Lettheriverflow.
“The Commission committed to work with WRA and other key stakeholders in rehabilitation, protection, restoration, beautification, and sustainable development of the riverine basin within Nairobi, Kiambu, Machakos, Makueni and Kajiado Counties,” NRC said.
