NCIC Summons Gatundu South MP Over Incitement

The National Cohesion and Integration Commission has summoned Gatundu South MP Gabriel Kagombe for allegedly inciting remarks he made at a political rally.

Kagombe is scheduled to appear before the Commission tomorrow Thursday at 11 a.m., according to the summons dated May 8.

In his remarks, the Mp stated that pupils should attend schools in their native county, adding that Kiambu county was overburdened by hosting learners from other counties.

The NCIC deemed Kagombe’s words to be threatening, abusive, and insulting, in violation of the National Cohesion and Integration Act.
