Ndindi Nyoro says Kibicho, Matiang’i organized Murang’a violence

Kiharu MP Ndindi Nyoro has fingered a meeting held at the Thika Greens Resort last week, as the operations center that planned the Sunday morning chaos.

Nyoro named Interior PS Karanja Kibicho, Murang’a woman representative Sabina Chege, Mathioya MP Peter Kimari and Interior CS Fred Matiang’i who he believes were behind the AIPCA chaos.

“I want to tell you, Mheshimiwa Kimari, na wewe Kibicho, na wewe Matiang’i, na wewe Sabina Chege na hao wakora wengine, mko na watoto wenu, next time leteni watoto wenu na bibi zenu waandamane,” Nyoro said.

He added that several leaders were sent money to disrupt Ruto’s visits.

“We know, the money was picked from the office next to yours naibu wa rais, the ministry of interior and insecurity, they tried that in Kisii, they failed, they have tried it here, raia imekataa,” Nyoro added.

Kandara legislator Alice Wahome said she tried calling Murang’a County Commander Josphat Kinyua over the planned violence.

“I called him three times, he did not pick, I wanted to tell him I was aware of the planned protests, he did not call back,” Wahome sad.

Several vehicles turned back to avoid the chaos, while other videos showed two groups of youth pelting each other with stones.

According to Kenol residents, 5 buses ferrying youth to the church event were spotted on Sunday morning. The buses were believed to have come from Nairobi and Thika.

“They were in five buses, and we have never seen them before, they came in and started lighting tires on the road,” a witness told Inooro TV.
