Kenya’s National Environment Management Authority (NEMA) has bagged three coveted awards during the Africa Public Sector Awards Ceremony 2023.
NEMA was crowned Africas Best Environmental agency of the year 2023 for its tangible role in implimenting programmes.
NEMA was took home the Public Sector team of the year – NEMA Management Team-Bronze.
NEMA Director General, Mamo B. Mamo, EBS was awarded the “Environment CEO of the year 2023”.
Environment CS Soipan Tuya was awarded the Cabinet Secretary of the year 2023 award.
The 4th annual award ceremony was officiated by the Spouse of the Deputy President, H.E Pastor Dr. Dorcas Gachagua.
Tourism CS Hon. Peninah Malonza and CS Environment Hon. Soipan Tuya, were also present at the event. among other African leaders and stakeholders.
