Kitui Governor Charity Kaluki Ngilu has repossessed land previouslt allocated to Speaker George Ndoto.
The Governor led residents in demolishing a perimeter wall erected by the County Speaker, who is also Ngilu’s political nemesis.
Citing the County physical planning act, Ngilu stated that any development within the county area of jurisdiction to be undertaken after approval upon application by the owner.
“As such, NO APPROVAL FOR ANY DEVELOPMENT has been issued on that land and any development on the said piece of land is hereby DECLARED ILLEGAL .” the statement read.
