On Monday, a middle-aged man appeared in court in Nairobi, charged with a string of violent robberies along Ngong Road in Nairobi County.
Vitalis Sakwa Morara is accused of violently robbing Eunice Nungari Mutega of a Ksh 1200 ATM card and bag on June 17, 2023.
The prosecution informed the court that during the robbery, the accused and others still at large used a motorcycle with the registration number KMFW 461Y.
The accused, on the other hand, denied the allegations and was released on a bond term of ksh 100000 and surerity or a similar amount, or an alternative cash bill of ksh 70000 and a contact person.
The case is scheduled for pretrial hearing on June 22, 2023.
