Nigeria Armed Forces In Kenya To Benchmark Police

On Wednesday, the Kenya Police Service hosted a delegation from the Nigeria Armed Forces Command and Staff College at the National Police Leadership Academy in Ngong.

The Police Academy Commandant, Musyoki Mutungi, welcomed the group of students and Directing Staff led by Brigadier General FU Mijinyawa.

The Nigerian team is on an African research tour, according to the NPS, to learn about border control and national security.

Rosemary Kuraru, Director Human Capital Development and Administration, represented the Inspector General of Police at the ceremony.

Kenya and Nigeria are both members of the African Union Mechanism for Police Cooperation (AFRIPOL-AU) Bureau.
