Nyakach Deputy County Commissioner Sylvester Munyasia has been foud dead at his home in Pap Onditi.
Munyasia was discovered dead by the watchman on the morning of Sunday, May 29. According to reports, the deputy commissioner passed away after collapsing, though the cause of death has yet to be determined.
Kisumu county commissioner Josephine Ouko confirmed the death and sent condolence messages to the deceased’s family.
His body has been moved to Kisumu’s Aga Khan Hospital mortuary, where a postmortem will be performed.
Munyasia had been working in Nyakach for three months before his death, according to the county commissioner.
