Ndindi Nyoro (Kiharu), Naisula Lesuuda (Samburu West), and Peter Salasya (Mumias East) have been named among Kenya’s top-performing young leaders.
This is according to an Infotrak poll. MP Nyoro topped the list of the top ten performing young MPs in 2023, with an average score of 70%.
Paul Mwirigi, MP for Igembe South, was ranked second with 66%, tied with Christoper Wangaya (Khwisero), while Salasya was ranked fourth with 64%.
Lesuuda led three MPs tied at 63%, followed by Francis Kuria (Molo) and Reuben Kiborek (Mogotio).
Mukurweini MP John Kaguchia came in eighth with 81%, Babu Owino (Embakasi East) came in ninth with 61%, and Gideon Kipkoech (Keiyo South) matched for ninth with 59%.
Geoffrey Wandeto (Tetu) and James Githua (Kabete) were also tied for eighth place.
According to Infotrak, the index was conducted between July and September 2023, including all 47 counties and a total sample size of around 58,700 respondents.
