NYS Officer, Brother Surrender After Killing Man In Suspected Love Triangle

A National Youth Service (NYS) member and his brother have surrendered to Emurua Dikiir police station in Narok’s Transmara East sub-county after allegedly killing a man who strayed into their home at 3 a.m.

Ololmasani location assistant chief Richard Bett said that the two brothers allegedly ganged up and murdered the man who was allegedly in a relationship with the wife of the NYS officer after he knocked on the officer’s door thinking he was away as usual.

The officer led the man inside and beat him up before alerting his brother, who came over and killed him with him.

The deceased was stabbed to death after refusing to identify himself or explain why he decided to break into his home at night.

During the melee, the NYS man’s wife vanished into thin air and is currently being sought by police for more information.

The body has been transferred to the Kapkatet hospital mortuary.
