Courtney Clenney, a social media model, has been charged with murder in the stabbing death of her boyfriend, Christian Obumseli.
Clenney, 26, of Austin, Texas, was arrested without incident in Laupahoehoe, Hawaii, on Wednesday, August 10, 2022, at 9:30 a.m.
Members of the Hawai’i Police Department assisted and stood by as the United States Marshals Service apprehended Clenney.
She was arrested on a Miami-Dade County, Florida, arrest warrant for murder in the second degree with a deadly weapon. She will be extradited to Florida in the end.
In a press conference, Miami-Dade State Attorney Katherine Fernandez Rundle stated that Obumseli was the victim of domestic violence.
