Suicide Bomber Kills 50 In Pakistan

At least 50 people have been killed and more than 50 were injured in an explosion in Pakistan.

On Friday, a bomb exploded near a mosque in the southwestern province of Balochistan, as people gathered to commemorate the birth of Prophet Muhammad.

The police believe it was a suicide attack on a religious gathering in Mastung. A state of emergency has been declared by officials.

According to police, the victims are being transported to two hospitals.
The death toll was confirmed by two Mastung city police officials to BBC News. Interior Minister Sarfraz Bugti described the attack as a “heinous act.”

Many social media videos show the injured being rescued by emergency personnel and locals.
There has been no claim of responsibility for the attack.
