Interior CS Prof. Kithure Kindiki visited GSU, RDU, GD, CIPU and ASTU on Wednesday, November 30, to appreciate and encourage specialized security teams stationed in Kakuma and other parts of Turkana County.
During the visit, he announced that the government is revitalizing the Police Equipment Modernization Program to increase air and land assets and Personal Protective Equipment for officers confronting banditry, terrorism and organized crime.
In attendance were Turkana Governor Jeremiah Lomorukai, GSU commandant Douglas Kanja, Turkana County Security Team & Senior Ministry officials.
