Police ambush recovers stolen goods worth Ksh 29Million in Nairobi home

Police officers under the Special Service Unit in Nairobi have recovered suspected stolen goods worth 29 Million shillings in Utawala area.

According to the Directorate of Criminal Investigations, the goods are believed to have been stolen from a Godown along Masai Road off Mombasa Road in Embakasi on 17th May 2020.

Six suspects namely Castrol Musyoka, Dishon Wanjohi Kariuki, Silvester Makori, Patrick Maina Muthoni, John Kimani Chege and Jackson Njeru Njue who were found actively loading the 366 cartons of the Electrical Grinders and Drilling Machines into a lorry registration number KBR 954 J were arrested and are in lawful custody.

The police also alleged that the same gang has been involved in a series of Godown breakings at Athi River, Embakasi, Ruiru, Industrial area, and Mlolongo.
