Make no mistake. Deputy Speaker of the Senate Dr. Kithure Kindiki is not under siege, but 2022 presidential hopeful, Dr. William Ruto – By Prudence Wanza.
Kindiki is the one of most senior GEMA politician under the armpits of the embattled Deputy President. He is one of the most learned Meru politicians with a PhD in International Law from the University of Pretoria, South Africa.
As the epicenter of the Ruto control room among the Ameru, Kindiki is keeping the wrong company politically, by the standards of the deep state that has decided DP Ruto is not Presidential material.
Consequently, the unleashed political dogs of war that are currently mauling anything in a site that smells DP Ruto are trained on him. He is between a rock, a cliff, and the deep blue sea.
Kindiki, 47, met and fell in love with DP Ruto around 2008. That love affair, nurtured by Ruto personally saw the highly educated lawyer joined a team of advocates that argued Ruto’s myriad case at the International Criminal Court (ICC) in The Hague.
“Like fish out of water”
For that, Kindiki was catapulted from a nondescript lawyer to an internationally acclaimed barrister. The stage had been set for him to eat with the kings. And he did so in style until Ruto and his boss President Uhuru Kenyatta decided to strip naked and expose their political differences to Kenyans. And the world.
For starters, Kindiki should be in Law school. Churning out future legal minds. Had he met Ruto, he should have remained another eminent Ameru scholar, like so many others.
And so, on Friday 22, Kinduki will lose his position. In reality, it is DP Ruto who will have lost the seat…. because Kindiki, without DP Ruto patronage is like fish out of water.
Therefore, on Friday, the loyalty of the Meru people to their GEMA counterparts will be put to the greatest modern test. DP Ruto has furiously been driving a wedge between various GEMA outlets as insurance against the expected betrayal by the Agikuyu community. His foot soldiers are Kindiki, Maoka Maore, and Mithika Linturi.
Unfortunately for the DP, the foursome has no known influence, because Meru Governor Kiraitu Murungi is the King.
President Uhuru Kenyatta is probably the force behind Kindiki wars. He will stop at nothing in his energized bid to neutralize Ruto in GEMA strongholds.
Kindiki is the highest-ranking GEMA man still under the armpit of Ruto. He has been neutralized. And many others will in due course.
