Top security officials led by the Inspector General of Police Hilary Mutyambai are expected before a senate committee to respond to a query on why they replaced some of the security seconded to the Deputy President William Ruto.
The Senate Committee on National Security, Defence and Foreign Relations is investigating the issue.
This is after two weeks after Interior Cabinet Secretary Fred Matiangi led the security team to Parliament where he narrated why the security was replaced.
The CS said the DP has up to 257 security officers seconded to him.
The senate is also investigating the same issue.
