Police have warned of possible traffic disruptions on Thika Road Friday over ongoing National Azimio La Umoja event at Kasarani, Nairobi.
This May extend to Thika Town where a graduation event is ongoing for Mt Kenya University.
Up to 2,000 police officers have been deployed to both events to manage flow of people and cars.
They will be supplemented by private security officials.
At kasarani, police say they expect thousands of people and this will affect some flow of traffic near there.
The officers want those who can, to avoid Thika Road and those already on the route to follow instructions by officers on the ground.
