Father Nicholas Maanzo, the Ireland based priest who arrived in the country last week is now admitted at Mbangathi Hospital.
The priest was rushed to Mbagathi Hospital on Saturday night after developing high fever.
Kitui County officials rushed him to hospital after he posted high fever, estimated to be 38 degrees Fernheight.
He is however said to be out of danger.
Samples for testing Corona were extracted from him.
He was on the news last week after he broke his quarantine procedure and visited a supermarket and an ATM in search of supplies.
He lives alone at his Kihara Village Home, Changwithya East.
According to relatives and close friends, Maanzo is said to have alerted the County Government health officials after his temperatures shot up.
