ODM Party Leader Raila Odinga and his Azimio caravan are set to scale Mount Kenya from the Nyeri side in search of elusive support from the Mwai Kibaki bedroom.
Raila, the tractor that ferried Nyeri’s most famous son Mwai Kibaki to State House in 2002 will meet professionals and power brokers from the region.
Nyeri voters are a decisive lot, just like their women who batter their men for snoring at night.
He will launch the Nyeri Azimio youth brigade during the weekend retreat.
Raila will also enjoy the freezing calabash of Muratina from one of the caves where the Mau Mau used to hibernate.
The season is clearly on.
