A night guard was found dead in his house after he had told his wife he had swallowed poison in Nairobi’s Riruta area.
Dennis Omboka had arrived home looking stressed and told the wife he had swallowed poison but the woman brushed the claims aside and went to sleep.
She woke up in the morning and found her husband dead in the sitting room.
A postmortem is planned on the body to establish the kind of poison he swallowed. Police said they are investigating the incident.
