A team of detectives has been sent to Busia to hunt down a gang that shot and killed a shop attendant on the Busia-Kisumu highway in a robbery incident.
Jennifer Musyoka, 29 was shot and killed during a robbery at her cereals shop while a pedestrian was shot in the waist.
Police and witnesses said a gang had arrived at the facility aboard a motorcycle and demanded cash which prompted a confrontation that turned fatal.
The gang escaped with unknown amount of money. Police say a hunt on the gang is ongoing.
