Ruto Picks DPP Noordin Haji As NIS Director General

President William Ruto has nominated Noordin Haji, the Director of Public Prosecutions, as the new Director General of the National Intelligence Service.

Haji rejoins the National Intelligence Service after six years as Director of Public Prosecutions.
Prior to becoming DPP, he was Deputy Director of the National Intelligence Service’s Counter-Organized Crime Unit.

He has a Bachelor of Laws and a Masters degree from Cardiff University.

He also has a Masters of National Security Policy with Merit (MNSPO) from the Australian National University.
