Senate Minority Whip Fatuma Dullo and Nairobi Senator Edwin Sifuna are feuding over an alleged plot to remove the Isiolo senator from office.
On Friday, Sifuna revealed a plan to remove Dullo from the coveted position due to alleged “greed and gross incompetence.”
“Based on what she has done, her conscience should direct her to resign; otherwise, we will pursue her,” Sifuna said.
Dullo was accused of incompetence by the ODM secretary general, who stated that the busy office requires a dedicated and competent person.
But Dullo retaliated against Sifuna, accusing him of “gang attacking and arm-twisting” her after he was denied the minority whip position.
Dullo stated that even if she is fired, the position will not be filled by any other coalition party because it is a Jubilee preserve.
