Security has been beefed up at the Milimani Courts ahead of the judgement by the seven-judge bench on the presidential petition seeking to nullify William Ruto’s win.
All main roads leading to Milimani court have been closed as police try to regulate movements around the area.
Officers from both the regular police officers and the elite General Service Unit officers have been deployed at the Milimani Law Courts.
National Police Service says the deployment, which varies from region to region, was determined by the security challenges anticipated, including celebrations that may turn chaotic.

Inspector General of Police Hillary Mutyambai, who has since been discharged from the hospital where he spent 12 days, is now back in the office, and is expected to oversee the arrangements.
