Thika to Host The First Leg of The Nairobi Junior Golf Tour

According to Jacque Muhati from NCAB the sponsorship is part of the organization's ongoing efforts to promote the growth of the sport in Kenya.

Over 100 junior golfers have registered for the Nairobi Junior Golf Tour, which begins on Sunday at the Thika Sports Club.

U.S. Kids Golf is organizing the tournament in collaboration with the Junior Golf Foundation (JGF) and NCBA Bank.

The event will include both boys and girls ages 5 to 18 competing in age-appropriate competitions.

The junior tournament, which will be held at several golf clubs in Nairobi, aims to identify, nurture, and grow talent among young golfers throughout the country.

NCBA Bank has donated Sh2 million to the tournament, which will be used to organize events that will take place until January 2023.

The eight-leg junior series begins at Thika Sports Club before proceeding to Windsor Country Club, Karen, Muthaiga, Sigona, VetLab, and Royal Nairobi.

It will then shift back to Muthaiga for the championship match.
