Three people have been arraigned before a Milimani court and charged with conspiring to defraud a man Sh6 million.
The suspects, Simon Ngigi, Peter Kamau, Irfan Rajwan alias Patel and Abdulrasak Mohamed are said to have conspired to defraud Michael Yumba Mangeli, Ksh 6 million.
According to the charge sheet, the suspects pretended they were in a position to sell him an excavator crane a fact they knew to be false.
They faced another charge of obtaining Sh4,050,000 from the same complainant by fraudulent means.
They are said to have committed the offences on diverse dates between November 2023 and February 2024 within Nairobi County.
The accused persons appeared before Senior Principal Magistrate Robinson Ondieki and denied the charges.
They were released on a cash bail of Ksh 100,000.
