A two-story building in Kiambu County’s Membley area has collapsed.
At least three people are believed to be dead, as they remain trapped inside the structure that collapsed around 10:00 a.m.
Already, Kiambu County fire officers are collaborating with police and National Construction Authority (NCA) officers to rescue those trapped.
The building, which was said to be a go-down, was slated for demolition to make way for the Eastern bypass, which is currently under construction.
According to one of the firefighters, they have requested Kenya Army and NYS reinforcement to help with rescue efforts.
