Elon Musk, the CEO of Twitter, stunned the world by replacing the iconic blue bird logo, which had served as a home button on the web version, with the “doge” meme of the Dogecoin cryptocurrency.
Musk also shared a hilarious post on his account wherein the ‘doge’ meme in the car and telling the police officer, who appears to be seeing his driving license, that his photo has been changed.
He changed it again today, returning to the original blue bird logo.
Notably, the original logo was preserved on Twitter’s mobile app. Many people noticed the same thing and flooded social media with comments about Twitter’s logo update.
According to Bloomberg, the price of Dogecoin increased by nearly 30% after its image appeared unexpectedly in the website interface.
However, the use of the ‘Dog’ meme as a logo elicited a variety of reactions on Twitter.
