U.S. First Lady Jill Biden Arrives In Kenya For Three-Day Visit

    United States First Lady Dr. Jill Biden has officially arrived in the country ahead of her three-day visit to Kenya.

    Dr. Biden landed in the country from Namibia aboard the Executive One Foxtrot (EXEC1F) airplane which touched down at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) at around 4:30 pm.

    She was received into the country by First Lady Mama Rachel Ruto.

    East African Community CS Rebecca Miano was also present to welcome the US First Lady.

    This is the third time she is visiting Kenya but the first as First Lady.

    Biden will focus on women’s empowerment, children’s issues and food insecurity that has ravaged parts of the continent.

    In addition to focusing on women and children, she will draw attention to the dire food insecurity in the region.
