BY FAITH MUTETE – Census enumerators, content supervisors and ICT supervisors in Uasin Gishu County are holding peaceful demonstrations in Eldoret town.

Their reason for matching to the streets is because they have not yet received their dues after they conducted the census process.

The enumerators say that neighboring counties and chiefs and elders have been paid and all they have been doing is living off false promises of the money arriving from Nairobi.

The group of protesters is pleading with the government to look into the matter as some of them are students who need the money for school fees.
